snowed in

Just some pictures of my winter pot arrangements in the snow. Not much going on in my world at the moment. Just lots of sleepless nights from a 7-month old that has recently decided she doesn’t want to sleep at night anymore. I will be writing (blogging) down my plans for the front gardens in a wee bit as I get back into spring mode soon. I’m excited to get it planned, but this lack of sleep has my mind in a fog right now.

  1. I am jealous of your snow! We haven’t had any yet this winter – it doesn’t even feel like winter here in Brooklyn, NY and we’re wondering if it will ever really come. My bulbs are confused – some have started to come up and others have already bloomed! Agh!

I don’t envy your lack of sleep, however, and I hope you will start getting some good rest soon – you will need it for spring garden planning!

Your container plantings look lovely under a fresh blanket of snow, by the way! Great photos.

  2. I garden in southern Oklahoma, usually! Spending the winter here in IL is quite different and I am so ready to get my hands in the dirt and start planting. Have any of you ever planted purple carrots? And if so, would you share your tidbits of information? I would like to try some this year… that is if I get home in time to plant them!
